Community Living Victoria is seeking a compassionate and reliable independent contractor to provide one-to-one support to an adult with a developmental disability in Victoria, BC.

This is a part time contract opportunity of approximately 12 hours per week, with shifts typically scheduled in 2-4 hour blocks during daytime hours. Support may take place in the individual's home and/or the community and could include companionship, assistance with daily living activities, meal support, and promoting community inclusion.

Requirements

- Must reside in the Greater Victoria area
- Ability to work independently while maintaining professional boundaries
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience supporting individuals with disabilities is an asset
- Criminal Record Check and First Aid are required
