Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Concrete Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience in concrete construction, repair, restoration, and finishing and will be comfortable working with a variety of tools, equipment, and construction materials.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their workmanship and enjoys working on diverse construction and restoration projects in a quick-paced workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Install and repair concrete structures and surfaces in accordance with project specifications.
- Install rebar reinforcement to ensure the structural integrity of concrete elements.
- Perform concrete forming, placement, finishing, patching, and restoration work.
- Apply and install Sika products in accordance with manufacturer specifications and project requirements.
- Operate and safely use jackhammers, skill saws, grinders, drills, and other power tools.
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete concrete repairs, surface preparation, caulking, and finishing.
- Perform concrete surface preparation, including grinding, chipping, cleaning, and removal of damaged materials.
- Complete concrete patching, restoration, and repair work to a high standard.
- Maintain and operate construction tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow all company health and safety policies, procedures,



and safe work practices.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform other construction-related duties as required.

Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in concrete construction, repair, restoration, or finishing.
- Knowledge and experience with Sika products and installation procedures.
- Experience with rebar installation and concrete forming.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
- Knowledge of concrete finishing techniques, including smoothing, texturing, sealing, and surface preparation.
- Experience with concrete patching and restoration work.
- Strong understanding of general construction safety practices.
- Ability to work safely and effectively in various weather conditions.
- Physically capable of lifting and handling heavy materials and performing physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required Certifications
- CSTS 2020
- WHMIS

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
