In this role, you will report directly to the Director of Care and collaborate with a dynamic interdisciplinary team. You'll conduct in-depth psychosocial assessments, establish supportive relationships, and offer wide-ranging interventions for residents and their families. Your work aims not only to assist in adjustment but also to facilitate resources essential for optimal resident care.

Key Responsibilities:



• Perform comprehensive psychosocial assessments upon resident admission • Build trusting relationships with residents and families • Offer counseling and adjustment support to residents • Provide financial and legal guidance as required • Employ effective therapeutic communication methods

Requirements: • Current registration as a Social Worker • Graduate from an accredited School of Social Work • Experience with elderly populations • Strong teamwork ability within a multi-disciplinary team • Must pass a Vulnerable Sector Check
