Join Heritage Hill as a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse, delivering compassionate care during days, evenings, and weekends. This role focuses on enhancing patient experiences while ensuring operational excellence.
As an entry-level professional, you will report to the Clinic Manager, responsible for patient registration, minor surgical assistance, and conducting diagnostic tests. Your ability to communicate effectively and maintain organizational standards will be key to providing excellent customer care. A two-year diploma and experience with Med Access software will strengthen your suitability for this position.
Key Responsibilities: • Escort and prepare patients for their medical appointments • Perform diagnostic tests,
including urinalysis and glucose tests • Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation • Support physicians during minor surgeries as directed • Participate in training new medical staff and students
Requirements: • Diploma in nursing from an accredited program • Registration in good standing with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta • At least one year of customer service experience • Robust organizational and clinical skills • CPR and immunization certification necessary
