Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Helper to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will assist skilled tradespeople in various construction tasks, ensuring projects progress smoothly and efficiently. Your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and willingness to learn will contribute significantly to our success. Responsibilities

- Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including moving materials and setting up work areas
- Assist the lead handyman/technician across all stages of full residential and commercial renovation projects.
- Load, unload, and transport tools, equipment, and construction materials safely to and from sites.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively under supervision
- Punctuality & Reliability: Arrive on time, follow directions accurately, and work efficiently to keep projects on schedule.
- Help with a wide range of trades, including demolition, drywall prep/installation, painting, flooring, minor plumbing, and basic assembly/repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency

Skills





- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
- Previous construction experience or familiarity with building sites preferred
- Strong work ethic with a focus on safety protocols and teamwork
- Willingness to learn new skills such as carpentry, plumbing, painting, caulking, flooring, or accessories installation.

Requirements: Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in construction, renovation, or handyman support roles.

Basic knowledge and familiarity with general renovation tasks (demolition, drywall, painting, flooring, etc.).

Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable personal vehicle to commute to various job sites across the GTA.

Flexibility for both day and night shifts based on project needs.

Must own basic Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including steel-toe safety boots
