Construction LabourerJob Overview

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Construction Labourer to join our team. In this hands-on role, you will support a variety of construction, renovation, and restoration projects by assisting skilled tradespeople, preparing job sites, handling materials, and completing general construction tasks.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and clean construction sites, including setting up work areas, removing debris, and loading and unloading materials.
- Assist carpenters and other tradespeople with framing, installations, repairs, and general construction work.
- Safely use hand and power tools, including hammers, drills, screwdrivers, saws, and other construction equipment.
- Read and follow blueprints, drawings, measurements, and project instructions as required.
- Assist with renovation and finishing work, including painting, caulking, flooring, tile installation, and restoration.
- Support plumbing, welding, and other specialized trades by preparing materials and assisting with installations.
- Move and organize tools, equipment, and construction materials throughout the job site.
- Follow company safety procedures and maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.




- Work collaboratively with supervisors, tradespeople, and other crew members to keep projects on schedule.
- Complete other general labour and construction duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Previous construction, renovation, restoration, or general labour experience is an asset but not required.
- Comfortable using common hand and power tools.
- Basic knowledge of construction methods and job-site safety practices.
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and measurements is an asset.
- Experience with carpentry, flooring, tile, painting, caulking, or restoration work is considered an asset.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing or welding is beneficial.
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying construction materials and performing manual work for extended periods.
- Able to follow instructions and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to producing quality work.
- Strong attention to safety and detail.
