Our client is looking for the needle in a haystack Superintendent with a robust sense of leadership within the role. You will be primarily focused on the day-to-day management of a technically detailed and design-sensitive renovation project.

The successful candidate will oversee all in office activities, coordinate with trades and consultants, and ensure that safety, quality, and schedule objectives are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead on-site construction activities for a complex renovation project.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and consultants in collaboration with the Project Manager.
- Enforce safety protocols and environmental standards in accordance with WorkSafeBC and site-specific requirements.
- Maintain accurate daily documentation and progress reporting using Pro-core.




- Facilitate weekly look ahead schedules and ensure alignment with overall project timelines.
- Conduct regular site coordination meetings, promptly addressing issues as they arise.
- Communicate professionally with clients, consultants, and local stakeholders.
- Foster a respectful, inclusive site culture and provide mentorship to junior team members.

Requirements Candidate Requirements

- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience as a Site Superintendent or similar role, preferably on renovation, tenant improvement, or architectural upgrade projects.
- This is a great opportunity for a junior Superintendent or person with related experience to step into a multi-faceted project.
- Experience coordinating structural, mechanical, and electrical scopes within occupied or operational buildings is an asset.
- Strong understanding of renovation-specific challenges including demolition, phasing, and working in sensitive or high-traffic environments.
