eSentire is on a mission to hunt, investigate and stop cyber threats before they become business disrupting events. And today, that means pioneering the future of AI-powered security. At eSentire, we're building a cutting-edge AI Security Operations Platform that will amplify human expertise, not replace it, creating a workplace where innovation meets impact.
Our culture is based on transparency, teamwork, and continuous innovation, where your ideas can shape how AI and human intelligence work together to outsmart cyber adversaries. As the authority in Managed Detection and Response, we protect the critical data and applications of 2000+ organizations in 80+ countries, across 35 industries—and we're looking for forward-thinking talent to help us define what AI-first security, human-backed trust means for the industry. Manager, Content Marketing owns eSentire’s content strategy and execution across the marketing funnel — from thought leadership and threat research to product-focused content that drives demand generation and pipeline.
This role maintains eSentire’s brand voice, translating complex cybersecurity positioning into compelling content across blogs, white papers, ebooks, pillar pages, webinars, social media, and email. Manager works closely with product marketing to activate new messaging frameworks across content channels, and partners with the SEO/AEO agency to ensure content drives organic visibility and AI search inclusion. The role requires a strong understanding of B2B content strategy, cybersecurity industry trends, SEO/AEO best practices, and how to use AI tools to scale content output and quality without sacrificing brand integrity.
Devise security-focused integrated thought leadership programs — threat research reports, ebooks, white papers, and pillar pages — aligned to key themes such as AI, ransomware, offensive security, and recent attack vectors, aimed at acquiring and retaining customers and growing share of voice. Own the content calendar across content strategy, development, thought leadership, social media, video, and email,
ensuring alignment with campaign launches, product releases, and Tier 1 events such as Black Hat. Understand and articulate eSentire’s positioning and differentiators, translating new messaging frameworks into content that resonates with security decision makers at the awareness, consideration, and decision stages.
Work cross-functionally with product marketing, campaign marketing, channel marketing, field marketing, and the web team to develop content supporting integrated campaigns, ICP vertical programs (manufacturing, finance, SLED), and product-led growth initiatives. Build and maintain an AI-powered content infrastructure — brand voice files, persona/ICP markdown docs, funnel-stage content maps, and tone-of-voice guidelines — to enable scalable, consistent content generation across channels using tools such as Claude. Support the channel team’s content needs and enablement materials for key channel partners.
Partner with the SEO/AEO agency (LQ Digital) to ensure content strategy drives organic search performance, AI search inclusion, and glossary/pillar page development. Contribute to thought leadership and content strategy supporting the UKI and ROW teams as capacity allows. Own and operationalize social media strategy — blogs, SEO/AEO-focused content, and interactive media (podcasts, video) — including the content calendar, employee advocacy programs, and major brand activation moments such as the Atlas Octopus campaign at Black Hat.
Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders including Sales Enablement, Channel, and Direct Sales — briefing go-to-market teams on new content, supporting SDRs with messaging templates,
and flagging content gaps surfaced through AI chat and campaign performance. 5+ years of B2B content marketing experience, ideally in cybersecurity, SaaS, or another technical industry. ~ Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate technical/security concepts for multiple buyer personas. ~ Working knowledge of SEO/AEO best practices and how content performance is measured (organic traffic, conversion, AI search inclusion). ~ Claude) to scale content production while maintaining brand voice and quality. ~ Comfortable operating without a team today — able to prioritize a high-volume content pipeline solo and manage a freelance contributor. ~ Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, particularly with product marketing, SEO/AEO agencies, and sales enablement. If the successful candidate is located within 50 km of our Waterloo, Ontario office, this role will follow a hybrid schedule: work from home on Mondays and Fridays, and work onsite Tuesday through Thursday. Candidates residing more than 50 km from the office will work fully remote.
The expected base salary range for this role is $140,000 to $150,000 CAD. Actual compensation may vary depending on location and job-related factors such as qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and internal equity.
