As an Industrial Laser Technician, you will need a Mechanical Engineering Technology diploma or degree and should have two years of relevant experience. Candidates ideally possess skills in Pro-E, AutoCAD, and Solidworks, alongside the ability to read complex 3-D drawings. You'll manage production setups, perform routine maintenance on lasers, and liaise with quality control teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and set up production runs efficiently • Calibrate and align laser equipment accurately • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues • Document job specifics including materials and sizes • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations
Requirements: • Mechanical Engineering Technology diploma or degree • Proficiency in interpreting 3-D engineering drawings • Minimum 2 years of related industry experience • Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance • Collaborative work ethic and independent problem-solving
