Job Summary

In this role, you will assist with meal preparation, maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, and support the overall smooth operation of our restaurant or hospitality venue. Duties

- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and basic cooking tasks to support the kitchen team
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, equipment, and dining areas to ensure health and safety standards are met
- Support cooking activities by following recipes and instructions from senior kitchen staff
- Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling procedures and hygiene practices
- Assist with serving food to guests or customers in a courteous and efficient manner
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling accurately




- Support general cleaning duties including dishwashing, sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal to uphold a hygienic environment

Experience

- Previous food service experience in a restaurant, café, or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Familiarity with food safety standards and procedures is advantageous
- Experience with serving or cashiering using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is beneficial
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Hospitality or hotel experience, including meal preparation or barista skills, is a plus but not required
- Demonstrated commitment to cleanliness, food safety, and guest service excellence
