Hungry Bowl is a healthy food café. We provide rice bowls, Coffee, desserts, Wraps and smoothie bowl.
We are looking for full or part time cook or line cook who can:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Set up and stock kitchen stations with necessary supplies
- Prepare ingredients including chopping vegetables, portioning proteins, and preparing sauces
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food prep areas
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
- Ensure proper food storage and rotation (FIFO)
- Monitor food quality and portion control to reduce waste
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist with opening and closing kitchen
- Previous cooking or kitchen experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management and multitasking skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
