Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and cooking in a healthcare, hospitality, or senior living environment and a passion for serving others. You’ll be responsible for preparing meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and resident preferences, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen, and contributing to a positive dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook meals according to standardized recipes and menus
- Ensure meals meet nutritional standards and any special dietary needs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including equipment and food storage areas
- Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Assist in receiving, rotating,



and storing food supplies
- Communicate effectively with the dining team and support a collaborative kitchen environment
- Provide courteous and respectful service to residents and staff
- Participate in menu planning and kitchen operations improvements as needed

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2+ years of cooking experience, preferably in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality
- Knowledge of special diets (e.g., low-sodium, diabetic) a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Food Handlers certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Job Type: Part-time Pay: $18.50-$22.00 per hour
