COOK- THE CHAI BAR

Hiring Multiple Candidates THE CHAI BAR is a new Indian chai and café concept coming to Airport/Queen Rd in Brampton. We are looking for a skilled, reliable and hardworking Cook to join our opening team. The ideal candidate takes pride in preparing high-quality food, maintaining cleanliness and consistency, and working efficiently in a fast-paced café environment.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Maintain consistent food quality, taste, and presentation
- Prepare ingredients and manage food preparation efficiently
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Prepare and package dine-in and takeaway orders
- Monitor food inventory and minimize waste
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Work efficiently as part of a quick-paced kitchen team

Qualifications
- 2+ years of cooking or restaurant experience preferred
- Indian/South Asian cooking experience is an asset




- Food Handler Certificate is an asset
- Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Evening and weekend availability required
