year-round workUnion positionJob SummaryThe successful applicant will be expected to perform the following:Operate Class 1 vehicles for local deliveries and pickupsSafely transport goods to designated locationsAssist with loading/unloading of materials at the warehouseMaintain accurate delivery logs and documentsEnsure all safety regulations and standards are followedPerform routine maintenance checks on vehicles / power unitsRemunerationCompetitive hourly pay ratesFull benefits (medical & dental)Matching RRSPUnion RepresentationOvertime opportunitiesQualificationsIn order to be qualified, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:Valid Class 1 licenseMinimum 1 year of local driving experienceStrong attention to detailKnowledge of traffic laws and safety regulationsDriver's abstract must show no driving-related criminal code convictions in the prior 36 months; no more than 2 moving violations in the prior 12 months; and no more than 3 moving violations in the prior 36 months.
