Crawford Metal is looking to fill multiple shift positions in the warehouse.

ROTATING DAY/AFTERNOON position (2 weeks days / 2 weeks afternoon rotation).

Monday to Friday

Day Shift Hours 6:30am - 3:45pm

Afternoon Shift Hours 3:45pm - 1:15am

NIGHT SHIFT Sunday to Thursday.

(10:00pm to 7:30am)

We are a Steel Distribution Service Centre, operating out of a new state of the art warehouse in Burlington, Ontario with all recent overhead cranes (wireless remote control).

This is secure employment with no layoffs, no reduced hours, 44 hours per week guaranteed and optional overtime available.

Responsibilities

- Operation of dual hoist overhead crane.
- Basic Crane Rigging.
- Loading and offloading material.
- Picking, Packaging and staging orders.
- General housekeeping (maintaining orderly stock / staging areas and keeping work area clear of any debris or obstructions).
- Crane experience is not required but an asset, we will train.
- Ability to do large amounts of walking.
- Work in a team environment.
- Good communication with co-workers.
- Some relative steel, construction or industrial type experience.Operate cranes,



including boom trucks and rigging equipment, safely and accurately according to project specifications.
- Use communication skills to relay clear instructions and updates during lifting activities, maintaining effective teamwork.
- Assist with rigging tasks, ensuring loads are secured properly before lifting or moving materials.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience with rigging techniques and safety protocols in construction settings.
- Ability to work rotating day/afternoon shifts, demonstrating flexibility and reliability for this position.
- Ability to work straight nights.
