Overview Bison Transport offers a $3000 sign‑on bonus and pays every month on time. The position requires being on the road 7 to 14 days at a time, averaging 10,000 to 12,000 miles per month, available for dispatch 24 days a month. Trains open‑board, Canada/U.S. long‑haul Southbound freight can depart from any Bison location into any of the lower 48 states; Northbound freight can go into Canadian Provinces and Territories.

The route requires regular trips on Highway17 in Ontario and across U.S. mountain roads.

Responsibilities - Drive 17in Ontario 12 months a year and U.S. mountain roads 12 months a year.

- Average 12,000 miles per month (regional freight may be required).
- Flexible schedule requiring weekend departures.
- Haul all commodities, including meat and alcohol.

Profile - Owner‑Operator with 24 months tractor‑trailer experience.

- Tractor 2020 or newer with working DEF system.
- U.S. qualified.
- Minimum 6 months U.S. driving experience and 6 months Highway17 experience.
- Valid Class1/AZ license.
- Able to lift 50lbs. or more; driver assist is required on occasion.
- Reliable, flexible, punctual with strong communication skills.
- Values safety.
- Registered with the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
