Make an impact in the lives of others as a Direct Support Facilitator with Community Living Hamilton. In this part time role, you will assist clients in enriching their lives through supportive community activities.
This temporary position lasts about 12 months and seeks candidates with a passion for helping adults with developmental disabilities. Candidates should have a social sciences background and two years of relevant experience. You will be responsible for creating Individual Support Plans and ensuring the security and wellness of your clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support group living clients with engaging activities
• Create and implement Individual Support Plans
• Ensure client safety during scheduled activities




• Build and maintain trustful relationships with clients
• Uphold the reputation of Community Living Hamilton
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in social sciences preferred
• Preferred two years working with similar client groups
• Valid certifications in NVCI and First Aid/CPR
• A current driver’s license is a must
• Experience with diverse populations is a plus
