This full time role allows you to work on diverse heavy oil projects for both local and international clients. You’ll gain in-depth technical expertise while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. You will also oversee the fabrication of projects at Propak, ensuring effective execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage heavy oil project scopes
• Mentor junior engineers and oversee their work
• Foster relationships with clients for project success
• Participate in domestic and international travel for projects
• Work with engineering software for process design
Requirements:
• Degree in chemical engineering from an accredited institution
• 5+ years of experience in SAGD and heavy oil processing
• Alberta Professional Engineer designation or eligibility
• Proficient in HYSYS and other engineering applications
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
