Become a First Nation Representative serving Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ families in hitac̓u, BC. This full time role champions advocacy, cultural safety, and holistic community support.

Reporting to the Director of Health & Social Services, you will walk alongside families, helping to ensure their rights are respected across various service interactions. The First Nation Representative focuses on cultural connection, prevention strategies, and facilitating access to essential community resources.

Key Responsibilities: • Support families during external agency engagements • Advocate for equitable access to programs • Promote family preservation through preventive measures • Coordinate with community services for holistic support • Guide citizenship and membership applications

Requirements: • Education in Social Work, Indigenous Studies, or similar • Experience working with Indigenous families • Understanding of child welfare policies • Valid BC Driver's License • Clean Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector Screening
