The OpportunityResponsible for providing quality workmanship, consistent service, and technical support to the customers. Performs all tasks related to the testing, diagnosing, repair, maintenance, and reconditioning of Valves.The RoleInspect and diagnose components and equipment for servicing needs.Communicate with equipment owners for authorization of servicing and repairs as required.Cleaning valves for inspection, inspecting internal parts including measurement and documentation of critical dimensions.Update and maintain documentation information for the valvesAssembling and testing valves to ensure accordance to specifications and compliant to code.Painting and tagging as required.Service and repair equipment in the shop and potential field repair work.Establish and maintain strong working relationships with customers.Communicate equipment servicing needs as required with Branch Supervisor/Manager.Communicate work performed and complete service paperwork.Complete work ordersParticipate in manufacturers' and in house service training. Training may occur during work and/or after work hours.Participate in all required Health & Safety Training.Comply with the Health & Safety program and practices.Performance of daily duties in a manner conducive to a safe workplace.Work with Manufacturers online support.Conduct housekeeping dutiesMaintain a professional company image at all times.Meet requirements of Field Level Hazard and Job Hazard assessments.Assist in shipping and receiving of all material.Be familiar with manual and CNC machining activities (turning and milling)Be able to measure with precise accuracyCarry out reverse engineering measuring activitiesHave a positive knowledge on different materialsBe able to manufacture one off or numerous componentsHave an understand of "repair" machining scopesThe CandidateEducation: Journeyman Red Seal Machinist.
