In this role, you will offer trauma-informed counselling to women and individuals affected by abuse and violence. The ideal candidate will hold a Master's degree related to counselling and have substantial experience exceeding two years in crisis management. Knowledge of mental health frameworks and anti-oppression practices is essential for success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide therapeutic services to individuals and groups
• Maintain documentation as per agency requirements
• Advocate and collaborate with community partners
• Offer educational presentations on relevant topics
• Participate in organizing service delivery efforts
Requirements:
• Master's level degree or equivalent in counselling
• Minimum of 2 years in crisis or group therapy
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Valid Ontario Driver's License and insurance
• Vulnerable Sector Police Clearance required
