A career as a Paralegal within the Legal Affairs Governance team (Corporate Secretary's Office) at National Bank means acting as a key contributor in supporting the governance activities of the Bank's Board of Directors. This role allows you to make a tangible impact through your experience in operational coordination, regulatory follow-up, and document management.Your roleCoordinate the preparation of Board of Directors and committee meetings, in close collaboration with members of management, attend these meetings and contribute to the drafting of minutesDraft, review, and follow up on legal, corporate and regulatory documentsContribute to the implementation and execution of best practices in corporate governancePerform filings with regulatory authorities and ensure complianceAnalyze regulatory requirements applicable to the Board of Directors and ensure complianceMaintain and update corporate databases and recordsContribute to the continuous improvement of processes by identifying opportunities to optimize work and enhance operational efficiency within the teamSupport administrative processes, including invoicing and file trackingYour teamWithin the Legal Affairs Governance sector, you will be part of an engaged team and report to the Senior Director, Governance and Assistant Secretary.
