PositionOverview

AleadingfinancialinstitutionindowntownTorontoisseekingahighlyadaptable,proactiveBusinessSystemsAnalyst tostepintoanactiveprojectteamwithimmediateimpact.Inthis"SwissArmyKnife"role,youwillbridgethegapbetweenbusinessstakeholders,dataengineers,AIspecialists,andsoftwaredevelopers.Youwilldrivethedevelopmentofaninternalprojectrepositorydesignedtoconsolidateenterpriseprojectdataforadvancedprogressreporting,riskanalysis,andAI-enabledautomation.

KeyResponsibilities

- Elicitation&TechnicalDelivery;: Facilitateworkshopstoelicit,analyze,andtranslatecomplexfinancialbusinessneedsintofunctionalspecifications,technicaluserstories,processflows,BRDs,anddatamodelsforAIanddevelopmentteams.

- DevelopmentPartnering: Actasthedailysubjectmatterexpertfortechnicalteams;triagedevelopmentquestions,clarifyrules,andresolvescopequeriestomaintainrapidbuildvelocity.

- UATLeadership&QualityAssurance;: Design,coordinate,andexecuteend-to-endUserAcceptanceTesting(UAT).Defineteststrategy,buildacceptancecriteria,facilitatestakeholderwalkthroughs,andmanagedefectresolutionthroughdelivery.

- Risk&RegulatoryCompliance;:



Documentcomplexbusinessdecisionlogic,datagovernancerules,andreportingworkflowstosupportAIusecasesandautomatedRegulatoryProgramManagementOffice(RPMO)compliancereporting(e.g.,OSFIguidelines,operationalriskcontrols).

- Dashboards&VisualAnalytics;: Definedetailedspecificationsforoperationaldashboards—includingKPIs,metriclogic,riskindicators,calculations,security/accessfilters,anddrill-downanalytics.

- Traceability&Governance;: Managechangecontrolprocessesandmaintainstrictend-to-endrequirementtraceabilityfromregulatorystandardsthroughtechnicalarchitectureandproductiontesting.

Requirements

Requirements&Experience;

- Banking&FinancialSectorExperience;: Minimum5+yearsasaBusinessSystemsAnalystwithinbanking,financialservices,orcapitalmarketsenvironments.

- RiskManagement&RegulatoryExpertise;: Strongworkingknowledgeoffinancialriskanalysisframeworks,PMOgovernance,andregulatoryreportingstandards(OSFI,AML/KYCconcepts,orinternalGRCframeworks).

- AI&DataSolutions;: Demonstratedexperiencespecifyingfunctionalrequirementsfordataconsolidationprojects,machinelearningmodels,naturallanguageprocessing(NLP),orpredictiveriskalgorithms.

- Reporting&AnalyticsTooling;: Hands-onproficiencydefiningreportingspecsanddatastructureswithinenterpriseplatformssuchasRSAArcher ,Jira/Confluence ,andTableau (orPowerBI).

- TechnicalAgility: SolidSQLskillstoquerydatabaserepositories,validateconsolidatedprojectdata,andauditpipelineoutputs.
