Overview

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Dance Teacher to inspire students of all ages to discover the joy of movement and self-expression through dance. In this dynamic role, you will lead engaging dance classes, foster a positive learning environment, and nurture each student’s unique talents. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help cultivate confidence, coordination, and creativity in every participant.

This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to learn and become certified in the Twinkle Star Preschool Curriculum. You will be given all the resources and training for Twinkle Star to help you share your love of dance!

Duties

- Lead lively and well-structured dance classes
- Learn set lesson plans from the Twinkle Star Curriculum (all training hours are paid)
- Provide constructive feedback to students to encourage improvement and confidence
- Create a fun, inclusive atmosphere that motivates students to participate actively
- Assist with organizing performances, showcases, or recitals to celebrate student achievements
- Support students’ social and emotional development through positive reinforcement




- Maintain a safe environment by ensuring proper use of dance equipment and space

Requirements

- Proven experience in teaching dance or tutoring students in movement arts
- Strong classroom experience working with children or early childhood education settings
- Excellent communication skills to engage and motivate diverse learners
- Ability to demonstrate various dance styles with clarity and enthusiasm
- Experience working with children, including understanding their developmental needs
- Basic knowledge of classroom management techniques and creating inclusive lesson plans
- Additional skills and certification are a plus but not required
