The Opportunity

We are looking for an accomplished Data and Reporting Analystto join our team as part of our financial services business in Montreal.

Your primary responsibilities include

- reporting directly to the Vice President, the successful candidate will be involved in the day-to-day operational support of our institutional clients;




- the Data and Reporting Analyst will liaise with the Fund Admin team for process analysis and re-engineering of Data Management and Funds Accounting processes to provide better support in all aspects of portfolio accounting;
- He/she will ensure that portfolio accounting data is maintained in relevant systems in a timely and accurate manner;
- Design and implement processes for accounting and reporting; assist in client on-boarding process for current clients; assist in gathering client requirements and reporting;
- demonstrate keen awareness of industry and technology;
- Work with internal and external parties to resolve issues and further develop bespoke client solutions.
- Participate in various projects.

What You Bring

In addition to a commitment to delivering superior candidate and stakeholder experiences:
- the ideal candidate will have a university degree in finance or accounting;
- a recent graduate or up to 2 years’ work experience in finance, accounting or financial services;
- accounting or fund administration specific experience is an asset;
- strong technical and systems skills
- experience in relationship management and client service;

Key skills for this role are as follows:

- strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. VBA macros, a big asset.
- excellent time management, organizational, prioritization, and communication skills.
