WAGE RANGE: 61.298 PER HOUR THE POSITION IS COMPENSATED ACCORDING TO AN ESTABLISHED WAGE GRID, WITH PROGRESSION THROUGH THE STEPS OCCURRING IN ACCORDANCE WITH APPLICABLE POLICIES UNTIL REACHING THE MAXIMUM OF THE SALARY RANGE.

We are searching for a qualified experienced Data Architect / CCL Developer with experience in healthcare, expert knowledge of CCL/Discern Explorer, Power InSight/DA2, and Discern Rules. As a valued member of the Enterprise Analytics team, you will play a crucial hands-on role in designing, coding and implementing several report solutions and meeting data-related needs. We are looking for a strong hands-on candidate who possesses advanced capability in Cerner Command Language (CCL), Oracle Cerner's reporting coding language.

This role combines hands-on Cerner CCL development with enterprise data architecture responsibilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

o Analyze healthcare system data structures, including tables and fields, to support data migration, modeling, and architecture using SQL, Oracle Cerner (CCL), and Business Objects o Perform data profiling and analysis of Millennium data structures to support reporting, analytics, and operational decision-making o Design, develop, and optimize Cerner CCL extracts, scripts, reports, and high-performance SQL queries o Identify data quality issues, gaps, and opportunities for improvement, recommending scalable and sustainable solutions o Ensure data quality, integrity, privacy, security, and compliance through ongoing monitoring, testing, and validation o Partner with internal and external parties to gather requirements and deliver reporting, analytics,



and business intelligence solutions o Collaborate with Data Engineers, Database Administrators, Decision Support Advisors, and other technical teams to enable seamless data integration and accessibility o Support and enforce data governance standards, policies, and best practices to ensure data consistency, accuracy, and reliability o Enhance system performance and data infrastructure through testing, troubleshooting, audits, and implementation of new technologies and processes

QUALIFICATIONS:

o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience o Formal training and/or demonstrated experience in Oracle Cerner CCL development and reporting o Minimum 5 years of Oracle Cerner programming experience, including developing custom reports, data extracts, MPages, and other database solutions o Minimum 5 years of healthcare experience, preferably within a Canadian healthcare environment o 2-3 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Architecture/Engineering, or Database Administration o Strong understanding of clinical and operational healthcare data structures and workflows o Advanced expertise in Oracle databases, SQL, CCL, Discern Explorer, Discern Rules, and PowerInsight/DA2

o Experience designing, executing, and validating testing scenarios o Solid analytical, problem-solving, and internal and external partner engagement skills, including requirements gathering and validation o Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP o Working knowledge of Microsoft data and analytics technologies and infrastructure o Understanding of data warehousing principles, data governance, and industry best practices o Relevant certifications or training in Oracle/Cerner technologies, healthcare analytics,



or data warehousing are considered assets o Proven ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and facilitate knowledge transfer related to digital health standards and technologies
