Role: Data Architect Location: Toronto, ON- Hybrid (3-4days/week) Duration: Full Time Compensation Range: $120,000 - $130,000 per year Responsibilities Responsible for designing and delivering end-to-end data architecture solutions for enterprise Data Hub platforms.

Define scalable, secure, and high-performance data architectures on Microsoft Azure, enabling reliable data integration, processing, analytics, and governance.

Lead the design and implementation of event-driven architecture patterns, including Kafka-based event production and consumption, to support real-time data exchange, system interoperability, and business agility.

Design and optimize streaming data pipelines, event processing frameworks, and integration patterns for high-volume, low-latency workloads.

Architect, deploy, and manage cloud-native data platforms using Azure services and Kubernetes, ensuring scalability, resilience, observability, and operational excellence.

Provide technical leadership and architecture governance for Azure-based data solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, security requirements, and best practices.

Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into robust, future-ready data solutions.

Key Skills

End-to-end data solution architecture for enterprise Data Hub platforms.

Strong experience designing and implementing Azure-based Data Hub architectures leveraging services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Event Hubs, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Databricks, Azure Storage, and Azure Synapse Analytics.

Expertise in event-driven architecture, event consumption patterns, and real-time data processing.





Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka, including topic design, consumer groups, event streaming, and integration patterns.

Experience deploying and managing containerized applications and data workloads on Kubernetes (AKS).

Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices, APIs, distributed systems, and data integration patterns.

Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep), and Azure monitoring and observability tools.

Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
