Job Description

- Manage and oversee all plant engineering, maintenance, and workshop operations.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programmes for machinery, equipment, and facilities.
- Lead and support mechanical and electrical maintenance teams to ensure optimal plant performance.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage engineering projects, equipment upgrades, and new installations.
- Ensure the effective maintenance of buildings, infrastructure, and production equipment.
- Monitor plant efficiency and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety, HACCP, and FSSC quality standards.
- Develop and enforce engineering procedures, maintenance standards, and operational policies.
- Manage departmental budgets, resources, and maintenance schedules.
- Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance and engineering teams.

Qualifications

- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.
- Qualification in Project Management will be advantageous.




- Minimum 5 years' experience in workshop management within a manufacturing workplace.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in plant engineering and maintenance.
- Experience with electrical systems and equipment maintenance.
- Knowledge of PLC systems will be advantageous.
- Proficient in MS Office, MS Projects, and engineering software.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety, HACCP, and FSSC standards.
- Strong leadership, planning, and project management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
