Join Main Street Project as a Support Worker for Withdrawal Management Services, where compassion meets professional care. This casual position involves supporting individuals in their recovery journey through detox at two facilities.
As part of Main Street Project, you will engage with clients at 75 Martha and 146 Magnus Avenue, ensuring their safety and well-being during detox. You will collaborate with medical professionals and provide individualized support tailored to each participant’s needs. This role is crucial in promoting dignity and respect for every individual.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments and coordinate client intake
• Oversee medication administration and tracking
• Support implementation of rehabilitation programs




• Address immediate participant needs including meal provision
• Collaborate with external services for client advocacy
Requirements:
• Experience in human services or related fields
• Preferred educational background in addictions or mental health
• Solid interpersonal skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of harm reduction strategies
• Valid certifications in CPR and First Aid
