Role Data Systems Analyst

Primary Skills
Minimum 5 years of experience successfully leading Data Systems Analysis organizations with expertise in building largescale enterprise data assets
8 years experience as a Business Analyst working on midlarge projects for data design development and implementation of businesscritical enterprise data systems
Very strong SQL background
Strong knowledge on data warehousing especially on data lake house
Background on Insurance knowledge such as billing policy claims etc
Solid graspexperience with data technology tools like PostgreSQL Informatica
Outstanding knowledge and experience in ETL with Informatica product suite
Experience establishing documentation standards frameworks for data quality data governance stewardship and metadata management
Clean and transform raw data from diverse sources eg policy admin systems CRM claims systems into analyticsready formats
Leverage lakehouse tool Delta Lake to manage versioned and timetravel datasets
Collaborate with data engineers to ensure efficient ETLELT processes
Build dashboards and visualizations for underwriting claims finance and product teams
Use tools like Power BI or Qlik to present insights from lakehouse data
Enable selfservice analytics by creating reusable datasets and semantic layers
Profile and validate data to ensure consistency across policy claims and financial domains
Tag and catalog datasets using metadata tool Unity Catalog
Support master data management and reference data initiatives
Solid understanding of Project and Program Management processes
Insurance knowledge an asset
Secondary Skills
Ability to foundationally understand complex business process driving technical systems
Good graspexperience with data technology tools such as Snowflake Hadoop
Experience in leveraging lakehouse tool Apache Iceberg
Knowledge of Tagging and catalog datasets using metadata tool Collibra
Exposure of Tableau to present insights from lakehouse data
Strong leadership and influencing skills at the senior management level
Strong analytical critical thinking and problemsolving skills
Soft Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong ability to work with client stakeholders
