Position Overview

We are looking for a reliable, punctual, and resourceful Class 1 driver responsible for safely transporting vehicles between dealerships, customers, auctions, service facilities, and other locations.

The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, understands the importance of deadlines, and can handle unexpected situations independently. You should be comfortable working in a rapid-paced automotive environment and representing CarEvo professionally while on the road.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely load, secure, transport, and unload up to 3 vehicles at a time
- Complete vehicle deliveries and pickups safely and on schedule
- Perform basic vehicle and trailer safety inspections before and after trips
- Ensure vehicles are properly secured and protected during transportation
- Maintain accurate delivery and pickup documentation
- Communicate professionally with customers, dealerships, auction facilities, and staff
- Plan efficient routes and manage delivery schedules
- Handle unexpected delays, route changes, or vehicle-related issues in a resourceful manner
- Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of the truck and trailer
- Report any vehicle damage, mechanical concerns, or delivery issues promptly
- Follow all applicable transportation, safety, and traffic regulations
- Represent CarEvo Auto Solutions professionally at all times

- Class 1 licensed – REQUIRED

- Comfortable operating a 3-car hauler
- Organized and able to manage multiple deliveries
- Professional and courteous with customers and business partners
- Comfortable working independently
- Mechanically inclined and able to identify basic vehicle or trailer issues
- Able to work in varying weather and road conditions

Requirements
- Valid Class 1 Driver's Licence – REQUIRED
- Clean or acceptable driving record
- Previous car-hauling, vehicle transportation, commercial driving, or automotive experience is an asset
- Experience operating a 3-car hauler is considered an asset
- Ability to safely inspect, load, secure, and unload vehicles
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be dependable and punctual
