Riverside Dental is looking for an enthusiastic, organized and reliable Administrative Scheduler to join our team!
We are a busy, modern dental practice committed to providing exceptional patient care while maintaining a positive, supportive and professional workplace. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, is highly organized and can thrive in a fast-paced dental office environment.
The Position
As an Administrative Scheduler, you will play an important role in keeping the practice running efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:
- Scheduling and confirming patient appointments
- Managing and optimizing the daily schedules for dentists and hygienists
- Answering phones and assisting patients in person and by telephone
- Coordinating appointment changes, cancellations and rescheduling
- Communicating with patients regarding upcoming appointments and treatment
- Maintaining accurate patient information and scheduling records
- Working closely with dentists, hygienists, dental assistants and the administrative team
- Helping ensure the daily schedule is productive and runs smoothly
- Providing a welcoming and professional experience for every patient
What We Are Looking For
- Previous dental office or medical administrative experience is an asset
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, friendly and positive attitude
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a busy environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable and punctual
- Comfortable working with computers and scheduling software
- Experience with Dentrix or other dental practice management software is an asset
