Demolition Supervisor (Hands-On / Working Supervisor)

Pay: CA$22.00–CA$36.00 per hour

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Demolition Supervisor to actively lead and work alongside demolition crews on interior and exterior projects. This role is ideal for a working supervisor who leads by example, operates equipment daily, and maintains strong on-site control of safety, productivity, and quality. The successful candidate will have extensive practical demolition experience and a solid understanding of construction practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform hands-on demolition work while supervising and coordinating daily job site activities
- Lead crews by example, working directly with team members to complete demolition tasks safely and efficiently
- Operate and oversee the use of demolition tools, machinery, and equipment
- Ensure strict compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and site-specific requirements
- Plan daily work activities, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet project timelines
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and site instructions to guide demolition work
- Train, mentor,



and support crew members on proper demolition techniques and safety practices
- Coordinate closely with site supervisors, trades, and project management to maintain workflow
- Identify hazards, conduct toolbox talks, and actively enforce job-site safety standards

Qualifications

- Required: Proven experience in interior and exterior demolition with the ability to perform physically demanding, hands-on work
- Robust leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to supervise crews in the field
- Experience reading blueprints and working from demolition plans
- Class 5 drivers licence
- Preferred: Experience with hazardous materials abatement and concrete demolition
- Class 3 drivers licence or willing to obtain
