Harbour Dental Centre has an exciting full-time CDAlevel ll position. Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant - CDA Level II, where your expertise will be vital in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our dental professionals including our specialists. As a key member of our team, you will assist with clinical procedures, manage patient flow, and ensure smooth daily operations. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming atmosphere for every patient who walks through our doors.

Responsibilities

- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to ensure a safe and effective environment for procedures
- Assist dentists during examinations and treatments by handing instruments and managing patient comfort
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology to assist in diagnosis
- Manage patient records using dental software such as Paradigm, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Provide pre- and post-operative instructions to patients, including care for occlusal appliances or pediatric patients
- Support front desk activities by greeting patients,



scheduling appointments, and handling administrative tasks as a dental receptionist
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and order materials as needed to keep the practice well-stocked

Experience

- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) Level II certification required, with proven experience in a clinical setting
- Familiarity with dental software platforms such as Paradigm/LogicTech
- Knowledge of orthodontics procedures and pediatric dentistry is highly desirable
- Experience with medical terminology relevant to dental care and procedures
- Hands-on experience with dental radiography (X-ray techniques) and CAD technology for imaging purposes
- Strong understanding of infection control protocols, sterilization processes, and OSHA regulations
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages
