Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the daily operations of our office, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. This position is perfect for someone with a strong background in administrative tasks, particularly in a medical or dental office environment.
The Administrator will be responsible for front desk operations, managing electronic medical records, and providing exceptional support to both staff and patients.
Duties
- Manage front desk operations, greeting patients and visitors with professionalism and courtesy.
- Handle phone systems effectively, responding to inquiries and directing calls as necessary.
- Maintain electronic medical records (EMR) accurately, ensuring all patient information is up-to-date and compliant with regulations.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing the office calendar to optimize workflow.
- Support the dental receptionist duties by coordinating patient check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with medical staff regarding patient needs and office operations.
- Utilize medical terminology to assist in documentation and communication within the office.
- Perform various administrative tasks such as filing, data entry,
and maintaining office supplies.
Skills
- Proficient in front desk management and customer service skills.
- Experience with Epic or similar electronic medical record systems is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in an office setting.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to a dental or medical office environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to operate phone systems efficiently while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Previous experience as an administrator or in an administrative role within a healthcare setting is preferred.
