Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. The Dental Receptionist will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to patients, managing the front desk operations, and ensuring the smooth flow of the dental office. The ideal candidate will have experience in a dental or medical office setting and possess strong administrative and communication skills.

Duties

- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office
- Schedule and confirm appointments using OPEN DENTAL
- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries or concerns
- Manage patient check-in and check-out process
- Verify insurance coverage and assist with billing inquiries
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow




- Follow office protocols and maintain confidentiality of patient information

Experience:
- Previous experience working in a dental or medical office setting is preferred
- Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is a plus
- Proficiency in OPEN DENTAL
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of phone systems and front desk operations
