Overview
We are a patient-centered dental practice seeking a highly qualified, organized, and personable Dental Receptionist to serve as the welcoming first point of contact for our patients. This position is ideal for an individual who takes pride in their work, demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, and genuinely enjoys creating positive experiences for others.
The Dental Receptionist plays an integral role in the smooth and efficient operation of our practice. While you will not be expected to manage every aspect of the office, your contribution will be essential to maintaining an organized, qualified, and welcoming environment. From the moment patients arrive, you will help ensure they feel valued, comfortable, and well cared for.
We are looking for someone who thrives in a team oriented environment, communicates clearly and professionally, and understands the importance of providing exceptional patient service while maintaining efficiency and organization.
What You’ll Do
- Welcome patients warmly and professionally, in person and over the phone
- Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments efficiently
- Handle payments and basic insurance coordination with accuracy
- Maintain patient records with care, confidentiality, and attention to detail
- Communicate clearly with the clinical team to support patient flow
- Help keep the front desk organized, calm, and efficient
- Contribute to a positive, respectful team culture

- Are comfortable with Abel dental software (or willing to learn)
Education & Experience
- Dental or healthcare administrative experience preferred
- Knowledge of dental terminology and insurance is an asset
- Strong customer service and organizational skills required

Compensation & Benefits
- $25-28 per hour, based on experience
- 32–36 hours per week (consistent, predictable schedule)
