Main Responsibilities

- Perform general project duties, including preparing cost estimates, design drawings, specifications, and contract documents, under the supervision of a senior engineer or technologist.
- Develop, prepare, and review civil engineering design drawings, coordinating with the engineering design team.
- Conduct site inspections and materials testing as required.
- Manage construction contracts and liaise with clients and contractors.
- Coordinate designs and construction inspections with multiple disciplines.

Qualifications

- Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology from an accredited institution.
- Member or eligibility for membership in ASET.
- 3-5 years of municipal civil engineering experience, including but not limited to:




- Water distribution systems.
- Wastewater collection systems.
- Stormwater management systems.
- Site grading.
- Transportation and structures including bridges and culverts.

- Demonstrated knowledge of general construction methods.
- Strong presentation, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented.
- Proficiency with Civil3D software.
