About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Finance to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a strategic financial business partner, with a strong technical accounting background, and a passion for driving the growth of the business. This hands-on role is critical to the company's success, and the Head of Finance will be responsible for full-cycle accounting, as well as using technology to automate processes and build relationships to streamline business operations. The role also involves working closely with senior management, operations, and external advisors to provide strategic decision support and drive the company's future direction.

Applicants must have a Canadian CPA designation,



a minimum of 5 years' post-designation experience, and at least 3 years in a senior role within a dynamic, growing company. International business experience, exposure to import/export laws, and a background in the construction supplies business are all highly valued. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with external business partners, be an advanced Excel user with robust financial modeling skills, and have experience in selecting and implementing an ERP system. A collaborative and respectful approach to working with both internal and external customers, particularly in an international setting, is essential.
