The YMCA of Northern Alberta is seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Educator to implement approved curriculum that promotes growth in young children. In this role, you will create a safe, stimulating environment while facilitating activities that nurture creativity and social skills. Daily communication with parents and documentation of child progress are key aspects of this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement YMCA-approved curriculum for child development
• Facilitate engaging activities to encourage creativity
• Observe and document children's growth




• Maintain safety by following policies and regulations
• Communicate daily with parents about child progress
• Complete required administrative tasks
• Mentor and assist new Educators
Requirements:
• Experience with young children preferred
• Level 1 Child Care Certification or in progress
• Standard First Aid & CPR - C
• Transparent Police Information Check required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
