Senior Accountant Richard Liu & Company, Inc.

Job Summary We are a busy CPA firm located on Vancouver West Broadway 2 mins walk from Vancouver City Hall Skytrain Station, seeking a motivated, detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join us. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing , ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations, and providing insightful account analysis. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting and tax, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Duties

Preparation of compilation and reviewed/audit financial statements

Preparation of complex personal, trust, partnership and corporate tax returns, tax elections and other tax reporting forms

Assistance with calculations and reporting of various corporate reorganizations, estates planning, business acquisitions and dispositions, compensation strategies and other transactions undertaken by our clients

Training, overseeing and reviewing the work of more junior team members

Experience

Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role in the public practice environment;

Proficiency in accounting and tax softwares including Caseware, QuickBooks, Profile and Miscrosoft Excel?;

Strong computer skills and familiar with Caseware, QuickBooks,



Microsoft Excel, and Profile;

Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting;

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting;

Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively;

Be open minded and open to learn as the job progresses;

Must have excellent communication skills dealing with clients and customers in both verbal and written English, enjoy a quick paced environment; and

Must speak fluent Mandarin and/ or Cantonese.

Accounting: 5 years (preferred)
