Ideal candidates will have a robust understanding of Canada's Food Guide and dietary requirements for seniors. Experience in food service and the ability to manage physical demands, including lifting, are essential in this rewarding position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and serve meals for senior residents
• Maintain cleanliness of food service area
• Follow dietary requirements based on health guidelines
• Collaborate with team members effectively
• Manage heavy pots and supplies during meal prep
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Food Handlers Course completion
• WHMIS certification required
• Level 4 Criminal Record Check necessary
• Understanding of seniors' dietary needs
