Kelowna Ready Mix is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to oversee their occupational health and safety program. This role entails ensuring compliance with WorkSafeBC regulations and advancing safety policies within the ready-mix concrete sector. You will collaborate widely, conduct inspections, and foster a proactive safety culture across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the occupational health and safety program across locations
• Ensure adherence to WorkSafeBC regulations and company policies
• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures




• Conduct inspections and identify hazards to mitigate risks
• Manage incident investigations and formulate preventative measures
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in Occupational Health & Safety
• Minimum 5 years of relevant safety experience
• Strong knowledge of WorkSafeBC legislation
• Current Level 2 Occupational First Aid certification
• Valid BC driver’s licence with a clean record
