How You’ll Contribute The Director of AV Technical Operations is responsible for leading technical operations within an assigned market, overseeing project management and installation execution to ensure consistent delivery performance, financial results, and client satisfaction. This role serves as the primary operational counterpart to market Sales leadership, aligning delivery capabilities with pipeline demand, client commitments, market strategy and growth objectives.

Reporting to the Managing Director- Canada, the Market TechOps Leader oversees PMO, field and associated delivery teams. This role focuses on execution excellence, resource coordination, team development, and issue resolution while ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with established standards, schedules, and financial targets.

What You’ll Do

- Provide market-level leadership for technical operations, PMO and field and delivery teams responsible for project execution and installation delivery.
- Partner closely with market Sales leadership to align delivery capacity, execution strategy,



and resourcing with pipeline demand and client expectations.
- Ensure projects are executed on time, within scope, and in alignment with financial and quality targets.
- Monitor project performance across the market, identifying risks, delays, or cost issues and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Enforce operational standards, processes, and workflows to drive consistency, quality, and efficiency across project teams.
- Coordinate resource utilization across projects, balancing workloads and supporting cross-project or cross-market needs when required.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for market-level delivery issues, including project performance, staffing challenges, and client concerns.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Configuration & Commissioning, and Fabrication teams to ensure smooth handoff and execution across disciplines.
- Support project launch, execution, and closeout practices to ensure clarity of roles, expectations, and deliverables.
- Lead performance management, coaching, and development for PMO and field and delivery within the market.
- Promote a culture of accountability, ownership, teamwork, and continuous improvement within market delivery teams.

What You’ll Bring

Education/ Certifications

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, construction management, or related field preferred.
- Industry certifications such as PMP, CTS, CTS-I, or CTS-D.

Required Skills/Qualifications

- 7+ years of experience in AV systems integration, media/broadcast integration, project management, or IT services within a complex delivery environment.
- 5+ years of progressive leadership experience managing managers and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Solid understanding of project management, installation, and field execution workflows.
- Strong business, planning, and decision-making skills in fast-paced environments.
- Proven experience managing financial performance, including margins, cost control, and forecasts.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and teams.




- Experience driving delivery performance, quality, and financial results at the market level.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications

- Ability to partner effectively with Sales, Engineering, and Operations leadership.
- Background in operational improvement or change management initiatives.

Work Environment This role operates in a professional office environment with regular presence at project sites and coordination with installation and project teams. Travel within the market may be required to support execution, client engagement, and issue resolution.
