Director of Agency Operations We are a growing, multi-state insurance organization managing approximately $25 million in premium across Michigan and California. We're looking for an experienced operational leader to work directly alongside the Agency Owner and help lead the next stage of our growth. The Director of Agency Operations will serve as the operational anchor of the organization, overseeing leaders and teams across Sales, Service, Systems, and Recruiting.

This is not an office management role. We're looking for someone who can lead leaders, create accountability, analyze performance, enforce standards, improve execution, and stay steady when the business is under pressure. Establish performance expectations and hold teams accountable Lead weekly KPI and performance reviews Coach managers through performance and employee issues Monitor sales, service, retention, and overall operational performance Help oversee recruiting, training, compliance,



and technology adoption Serve as a key operational point of contact when challenges arise Partner directly with the Agency Owner to turn business goals into execution Proven management and leadership experience Experience managing managers or team leaders Sales management and coaching experience Robust understanding of KPIs and performance management Willingness to travel between agency locations Insurance or Property & Casualty experience is strongly preferred but not required.

Success in this role means stronger managers, greater accountability, better communication between departments, more consistent execution, improved sales and retention performance, and fewer operational bottlenecks. Ultimately, you'll help build an organization that can continue growing without every decision, problem, and accountability conversation running through the Agency Owner.

Compensation & Travel This position requires regular travel between our Michigan offices in Grand Ledge, Holland, and Wyoming , with periodic travel to our California offices in Long Beach and Culver City . #
