Day Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–3:45 PM
Overtime/Saturdays required during peak season

Job Overview

We are hiring an experienced Machine Setup Operator for a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has strong hands‑on experience with machine setup, operation, adjustments, tooling changes, and troubleshooting.

Exposure to CNC‑based equipment is an asset.

Responsibilities

- Set up and operate manufacturing machinery according to production requirements
- Make machine adjustments and perform tooling changes
- Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot operating issues
- Read and follow production drawings, specifications, and work instructions
- Perform quality checks using calipers, tape measures, and other measuring tools
- Identify and report non‑conforming products




- Complete production documentation and data entry
- Follow SOPs, safety procedures, PPE requirements, and 5S standards
- Maintain a clean and safe workstation
- Support production targets and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

- 2+ years of hands‑on Machine Setup / Machine Operator experience in manufacturing
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills
- Experience with machine adjustments, tooling changes, and troubleshooting
- Exposure to CNC‑based manufacturing equipment is an asset
- Ability to read production drawings and specifications
- Experience using basic precision measuring tools
- CNC certification is an asset
- Basic computer skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Comfortable working around manufacturing noise, dust, and warm environments
- Ability to wear required PPE
