Responsibilities

- Thoroughly wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and sanitation.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as organizing ingredients and prepping items under supervision.
- Support the kitchen team by maintaining a tidy work area, including clearing tables and cleaning surfaces regularly.
- Follow all food safety protocols and handle food items properly to prevent contamination.
- Help with waste disposal and recycling processes to maintain an eco-friendly kitchen environment.
- Restock supplies and ensure all dishware and utensils are readily available for staff use.




- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service hours.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Knowledge of basic cooking, food handling, and safety procedures within the food industry.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency.
- Strong attention to detail when cleaning and organizing work areas.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Familiarity with meal preparation or food service experience is a plus but not mandatory.
