The Brackendale Art Gallery, home of the Zephyr Cafe, is​ vibrant and busy events venue and restaurant. We’re looking for a motivated and dependable Dishwasher/Prep Cook to join our team. If you have a passion for food and enjoy working in a quick-paced kitchen, this is the role for you!

Responsibilities

- Dishwashing: Clean dishes, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment quickly and efficiently.
- Prep Work: Assist with food prep tasks including chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and assembling dishes as directed by the kitchen team.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Keep the kitchen clean and organized, following sanitation standards and ensuring that work areas are stocked and ready for use.
- Support Team: Assist other kitchen staff with basic cooking tasks as needed and help maintain a smooth kitchen workflow.
- Safety & Cleanliness:



Follow safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen.

Requirements:

- Prior experience in a dishwasher or prep cook role preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Robust attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- A team player with a positive attitude.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Casual Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
