Duties

- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold food safety standards
- Assist in food preparation by chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and setting up stations for cooks
- Support cooking staff by providing timely ingredient replenishment and ensuring all prep work is completed efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, work surfaces, and storage areas
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality in all tasks




- Help with stock rotation and inventory management of supplies and ingredients
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours

Skills

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to perform basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, measuring, and assembling ingredients
- Strong organizational skills with attention to cleanliness and detail
- Capable of standing for extended periods and working efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff effectively
- Basic understanding of serving procedures and meal presentation standards
