Responsibilities

- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment by washing and sanitizing thoroughly
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and portioning ingredients under supervision
- Support the kitchen team by organizing supplies and ensuring all food handling procedures meet safety standards
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients and leftovers to prevent contamination and waste
- Follow all food safety protocols, including proper handwashing and sanitation practices




- Help with meal assembly during busy service times to ensure timely delivery of dishes
- Support the overall cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal as needed

Qualifications

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and practices
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy items safely
- Robust attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene
- Basic cooking skills or interest in developing culinary abilities are a plus
